| Lemar, whose latest single was released on September 4, is pleased with the way the recording went on his new album.
The R&B star who has sold over 1.5 million albums since he hit the music scene a couple of years ago believes the album will impress his fans.
"From beginning to end it is one journey in sound and emotion, so that the listener can really believe that this is from Lemar, this is where I'm at in life. I think I've nailed it," said Lemar who has won awards at both the Mobo's and the Brits since winning the TV show Fame Academy.
"There is an art to getting emotion through the microphone and on to the record, when people can't see your face, they can't see you on your knees in pain.
"The only way I could learn that is by listening to older artists, Sam Cooke, Al Green, Marvin Gaye, James Brown.
"It was a reckless road back then. They were great singers and great performers, but they had to struggle, and that's what makes their music so moving and connected to the heart."
His new single is entitled The Truth About Love.
